A native of Poland, Agnieszka Victoria Peszko, is a violinist making San Francisco her current home where she is collaborating with other musicians from the Bay Area. She has performed solo and chamber recitals in Europe and in the United States as well as she has participated in various orchestral projects.
In her home country, her appearances include performances at the President’s Gallery, Warsaw Philharmonic, the Warsaw Music Society, and Fryderyk Chopin University of Music. In the United States she has been taking on chamber music and was a founding member of The Cali Piano Trio that was the only pre-formed chamber group selected to participate at the Young Artist Program in Manchester, Vermont in 2014 and is the founding violinist of the San Francisco based piano trio Curium, dedicated to performing works of women composers
Agnieszka has participated in various international competitions and has won several prizes including 2nd prize at the J. Garscia Competition in Stalowa Wola, 4th prize at the G.F. Telemann Competition in Poznan, and 1st distinction at the G. Bacewicz Competition in Wroclaw.
Agnieszka completed her Master’s of Music in violin performance at San Francisco Conservatory of Music as well as she has received an Artist Diploma and Performance Certificate at John J. Cali School of Music at Montclair State University and Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance and Bachelor of Arts in Italian Studies at Bard College Conservatory of Music. Agnieszka’s enthusiasm and devotion for teaching has led many of her students to successful performances and distinctions at the assessment programs.
