Clint Cancio began his piano studies at three years of age and gave his first solo performance at the age of five. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Music from Notre Dame de Namur University and joined the faculty where he taught for 15 years. Clint also received scholarships while attending the University of Southern California and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. 

He currently resides and teaches in the San Francisco Bay Area, where his students have gone off to such illustrious universities as Princeton, Brown and NYU. Clint authored and published The Music Fairies and the Tiny Little Door, which is a children’s book and teaching tool used to gently encourage students as they learn to play their instruments. He is experienced working with students of all ages, from beginner to advanced, and utilizing a broad range of styles from classical pieces to pop, rock, movie themes and video game soundtracks.

We are located at 1241 Taraval Street, between 22nd and 23rd Avenue, in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset neighborhood just across the street from the Parkside Library and McCoppin Square.  With a bike rack in the front, an L Muni stop less than a block away, and street parking on the side avenues, Inspire Music is easily accessible to students from all parts of the San Francisco Bay Area.  Contact us today to set up your first lesson and get inspired!
